Just days after the new Hatboro township PRIDE flag was cut down and stolen, organizer Trish Marie Purdon brought the community together to show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community during a rally/protest to send the message that there is no room for hate in Hatboro, PA. SAGA Community Center leaders were among the speakers at the event.
Here at The Welcome Project PA, we provide educational resources, support groups, social activities and events, legal services, advocacy, food and nutrition services, interfaith learning and cooperation, and LGBT+ friendly, trauma-informed therapy, healing, and counseling. We serve newcomers to the US, Spanish-speaking communities, refugees, vulnerable faith communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and people living in poverty who lack the basic necessities.
