Josh Blakesley, M.Div. [he, him]
Josh grew up in the Midwest before completing a B.A. in Theatre at Northwestern College [IA] and a Masters of Divinity [M.Div.] at Princeton Theological Seminary [NJ]. An ordained minister in the United Church of Christ [UCC], Josh has lived and worked in Iowa, Philadelphia, Hawai’i, Mexico, New Jersey, and Michigan. Josh has been featured in numerous media, including a Vox Media episode of Divided States of Women with Liz Plank, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Bucks County Beacon, Telemundo, and others, including co-direction and production of the award-winning documentary film "See Me, Hear Me, Know Me." Josh has 25+ years of nonprofit experience, including belonging & inclusion education and training in corporate, medical, and academic settings; grant writing, fundraising, and program management. Josh is a fellow of Interfaith Philadelphia, a member of The Society for Faith & Justice, and a Collaborator for Nurturing Justice. Josh also enjoys running, strumming on the guitar, traveling, learning languages, or making strange and funny faces.
